I actually grew up owning poodles. They have pretty much the same temperament that yorkies do VERY loving and loves to play and cuddle! I haven't known anything as far as health issues or anything as mine never did. Grooming is easy. They dont shed and a good was and brush out is really all they need. Yorkies and poodles have seem to be the same to me. They are good with all kinds of dogs as well. But I have to say I love my Yorkies!
I forgot to mention they truly are smart dogs as well!
