My Oliver is the sweetest, most submissive dog you'd ever want to meet. BUT, there are a few things that make him growl and snap. We were playing once, and I blew in his face.....HATES IT. Also, when I mess with his facial hair he gets growly face. He has reddish tear stains so I wipe his face with a washcloth every day and he will sometimes snap at my hand by the time I get to his second eye. By cesar's rules, I'm sure I should do things like not let him on furniture and roll him on his back, etc. But he has never been aggresive to other people, and I guess I don't see it as a big deal. BTW, i had a bulldog once who never growled at anyone except for 1 neighbor I had. He turned into a different dog. I chalked it up to a "vibe" he got from this guy. I would make sure you try to socialize your pup and see how she does with other people. Then go from there. Maybe it was an isolated incident.
