 Tonight is the night!!!!
Tonight is the first night in 21.5 years that I have spent by myself knowing that my mom is not coming home. Tonight is the first night I spend in my very own house!!! YAY!!!
Okay, okay I will miss her, but it is going to be great FINALLY having my own place!!!
My family never does things the "normal" way.... we always have to do things backwards.... I get married in 3 weeks only 5 months after high school graduation, my whole family moves into one townhouse and instead of me and my husband moving out of my mom's house, my mom moves out of my house... meh... oh well...
My mom keeps asking me if I'm scared... pfft!!! Me? Scared? Puhleeze! With the way I was raised and with what I've been through in my short lifetime, this situation does not scare me at all. I think in a small way, she wants me to tell her that I still need her... and in a way, I always will because she's my mom, but I'm all grown up now and I can take care of myself... I've proven that time and time again.
