it's just luck! i am fairly new here, so i am not 100% sure, but i haven't seen anything mean like "oh, let's respond this this post but not that post"
i think this forum is full of nice and helpful people, but things are the way you choose to see them. if you choose to see people as bad and that they ignore certain posts and only respond to certain posts, then that's how you will feel, but if you choose to see that there are a lot of posts here and your post gets buried sometimes, then you won't feel bad about it.
the reality is, you will probably make other posts here and it is likely that some of those posts will again get buried, but at least this thread proves to you that it's just luck. at least that's how i see it.
