All I know is that my vet no longer gives the shot...I was looking into it for one of my guys who is also prone to tarter....
they stopped the shot because I guess a lot of dogs were having a pain reaction to the spot where the shot was given and some were getting sick...
I take my guy for a yearly dental..... and try to bruh teeth but he is brutal about having his teeth brushed...
