Minnie is great, she slept great, we even took her for a couple of walks around the house.
When my neighbor came over this morning, i was holding Minnie and she was wagging her tail, as my friend reached to pet her, she growled, it was not playful, it was a low stay away growl.
We watch Ceaser, so i did not let her get away with it. I just touched her to redirect and said no growl, she snapped at me. I put her down and said no and put her on her side gently saying no bite.
My feeling is she new and scared, and in some way was protecting me and her. My friend thinks i have a aggression problem, she said well maybe she is a dog who just doesn't like other people. I think it is way early to judge that. How do i handle situations like that in the future, so meeting new people is positive not negative?
