Oh dear me.... dreadlocks! Hehe. What an interesting breed of dog. I have never seen one of those before. I would never be able to let Strawberry go without a bath for 4-5 months. As it is, by the end of the week she is pretty stinky and stringy.
Her hair is not all that long yet, but I did notice her starting to get a few tangles so I have began brushing her so she gets used to it.
I think maybe a few drops of olive oil in her puppy formula might help keep her skin and hair in good shape so I can get away with a weekly bath as I am used to. I am going to try it. From what I have been reading some extra virgin olive oil in her food several times a week won't hurt. Just a 1/4 of a tsp perhaps in her food once a day.
