Sounds like a nut to me! I would definatly go and talk to the manager even now. I would have freaked if anyone took my babies out of my wagon. I usually put a leash on them and then hook the other end right to the cart so if anyone tried to take them out they wouldnt get far unless they took my whole wagon.
I'm so afraid of someone snatching one of my babies.
