 How long after heat can she be spayed?
I had a couple questions about Maggie's spay. She is just now finishing her up her heat. I noticed blood on Oct. 6th (it'll be 3 weeks on Monday). Our normal vet told us that she shouldn't be spayed for 4-6 weeks, but the vet that is spaying her (long story) told us we could do it any time. I told them I would prefer to wait until she was done, just to be safe. I made the appointment for Nov. 6th, exactly a month from the day I saw blood. Do you all this is a safe enough time or should we wait even longer? |
