Millie sleeps on the floor beside the bed but usually gets up on the bed in the middle of the night. She will sleep until we are ready to get up. We did have her in the kitchen for the first few months, but she would waken about 6am and want out.
So it makes it slightly easier for us this way.

She will usually when she is told to sit etc, and I am trying to teach her to stay. We are going to obedience classes at the minute and she is sooo easily distracted. She will sort of listen, but just wont pay attention very long. The lady taking the class says a lot of it is do to with her age and short attention span.

The sofa issue is something I need to get sorted, and in fact the lady taking the class said exactly the same thing last week. She currently even has her own chair!

With regard food, she doesnt rush over for her food, but she will try to jump up for her treats though she doesnt get them until she sits. She really does pester us when we are the dinner table having our dinner. We have high back leather chairs, and she scratches at them and at my leg in the same way she does on the door when she wants out.

She has gotten much better in the lead and there is rarely tension on the lead any more.

She will NOT come back when she is called if she gets out the front door.
She is also not very good at coming back at any other times.

She is a bit of a manic barker, and wont be quiet when told. Barks at noises from next door, when the door bell goes on the television etc.

What do you think. She is almost 7 months. I am hoping some of it is puppy stuff, though I know it will get worse if I dont do something about it.
