I swear when we first got Bella and took her to the vet he said bathe her every 4 to 5 months. When he left the room I said, to my daughter "did he say 4 to 5 months" she said, "I think so". Whew she would be beyond stinky by that point. Yuck. Well the most we have gone is two weeks and that is because we were busy not because she didn't need it.
