i have a quick question about smaller yorkie life span. if both parents were healthy size. (mom and dad were 5lbs. and 6lbs.-that's ok size right?) but my puppy is only 2.6lbs at 8 months. does that still mean she will be prone to health problems?
most yorkies quit growing around 6 mos. she may put on a little more, but, don't count on it..mine have all quit growing on their weight right between 6-7 mos. a lot of problems occur to these little ones because they are just more fragile, and can get hurt a lot easier, etc. my sister is 5 lbs and is going to be 13 soon and is really slowing down a lot..I hate to say it, but, I don't think hers will make it much longer..like I've said before, dogs live such short lives, that's why the chewing of the couches, etc. has never bothered me that much..would love to see pictures of your baby..
