i have a quick question about smaller yorkie life span. if both parents were healthy size. (mom and dad were 5lbs. and 6lbs.-that's ok size right?) but my puppy is only 2.6lbs at 8 months. does that still mean she will be prone to health problems?
well your pup is not finished growing and could end up a good weight still. But from what i've read the smaller they are the more problems they are prone to.. but that is just a generalization... every dog is different espeially if she is eating a quality food.
