I work with three different vets, my regular one in the day time a c-section is about 300.00 but he gives me a 25% discount as we have been friends for a long time. My back-up vet , which I had to use just two weeks ago the section was $501.00 and only one puppy. The costs go up for more puppies. And my after hour vet who will get out of bed any night, a section runs about $600.00. But if you go to the emergency clinic here in town it can cost 2 to 3 thousand. Working with the three vets I am covered , no ER for me!!!

I do my vaccines and tails and dew claws myself, I do not do mommy check ups, and I do not take my puppies to a vets office where they can catch anything.
If you are new to breeding , you can plan on being at the vets a lot.
