If I was going to feed raw at dinner, would I feed the recommended portion, even if I was still feeding kibble in the AM? - a denta stix maybe? You could get larger bones (non-consumable) for him to try. Canine Caviar Sticks? Those are healthy.
The 1.6 is probably for his daily intake...but...if you want him to gain weight, I'd probably go back to the calculator and put in his "ideal" weight. So, maybe his total intake would then say 2.0 (for example); then, for dinner you'd give 1.0 oz
