I did just talk to a 24 vet and he said that it is something that happens, not real offen but does happen. He said that because my vet had another vet come in and look he believes her ovary is very tiny and nearly impossiable to find. A yorkie ovary (from wht they told me) is smaller round, and yet a tiny bit longer than a pea, while in heat and for a short time after the ovary is a tiny bit larger than a nickel. |
oh wow - tiny or not - you'd think they'd have found it the first time and not put her thru this but as someone said - they are human and humans make mistakes - it sounds like they're trying hard to make it right for you but how scary and sad that she has to go thru this surgery again - One encouraging thing - they will probably be EXTRA ESTRA careful this time - I agree on a 2nd opinion but it sounds like you just have no choice and will have to trust in your vets.....BIG BIG HUGS to you and Lexi !
