May I make a suggestion now that she is safe at home with you. Call the police and tell them the story. The folks that had her either stole her or most likely got her from whoever did steal her. If they got 500.00 out of you there is a huge incentive to go dog nap someone else baby now. For the safety of other dogs in your area, tell the police and let them sort out the details.
