Unfortunately, Michigan does not have puppy lemon laws at this time, but there is a bill in the House (HB 5738) that would put them in place. If passed, it would require breeders who sell sick puppies to refund the money, pay for medical bills or replace the puppy.
Hopefully if this bill becomes law, the breeder in question will no longer sell puppies in Michigan.
