Sorry to hear about this.....diabetes seems to be at epidemic proportions now.....Thank goodness your a type two that means your pancreas is still functioning ....stick to healthier eating and you might be able to go off your meds....
My husband and son are type ones and their strips run about $40-$45 a box.....I've heard that Walmart has their own brand of meter and strips and they are cheaper and work well....I hope your feeling better soon......
