Our little Oliver is 11 and he eats all of our food ...
He used to eat many of the most expensive dog foods and get sick every morning.
He is Happy and Healthy since he does not eat those bags of kibble..
Who really knows what it is...
and look over the last few years how many pets died from the stuff ?
We are Thankful we changed his diet way before that..
Oliver eats tomatoes and is fine..cooked and raw.
he also eats most fresh veggies except for carrots.
and lean beef and free range lean chicken breast (no skin or bones)
occassionally lamb and loves fish...
and then he also get with that rice or pasta ...
snacks are fruit, cheese and plain real yogurt ...
we use the ratio 1/3 veggies 1/3 meat fish or chicken 1/3 pasta or rice.
he is not over weight and eats with gusto
in days gone by dogs ate stew ..the dog stew was beef stew chunks of beef with gravy potatoes and peas...it smelled good and dogs loved it...
it was actually the same one they made for people in the can ..just a cheaper price!
we do not buy the nutrition in a bag plan...since feeding him real food
his coat and skin has improved greatly along with his immunity...
