I agree that the clippers with the combs do not leave the smooth look of the professional blades. I'm capable of grooming my two but I just take them to my groomer who they love. It's so much easier than vacuuming the entire bathroom
I would just find a groomer who will let you stay and watch and just be very specific about what you want.
