I see cuts that I like here on Yorkietalk....they look like the hair is about an inch or so long all over, full face with hair going every which way and just fluffy and random like a puppy. Her cut turned out way too short and choppy. I used clippers on her with the longest comb the clippers came with but I am wondering if I should just use scissors and skip the clippers all together. I liked the way she looked when she was about 3-3/12 months old....a little length but not shaggy.

Does anyone here do their own grooming or have advice on how to get the look I am after?
i tried to cut milu's hair myself when i first got her, and....after i was done and when my fiance saw her, he laughed for 10 minutes straight! i was a little bit mad at first, but i started laughing too and apologized to milu for making her look so stupid...fortunately hair does grow back, and now i take her to the groomers...she doesn't like it, but she doesn't like it when i do it either...
