Megan, sounds like you are back to nature kinda gal...
I spent the most of the day mowing and riding around with the leaf bagger, getting up the grass clippings and what leaves have fallen. This is like velcro to the yorkies coats.
Just keep in mind when setting in plants, whether they are sun or shade plants. Soil is important too.. Good luck
