What a cute name I just meant that people shouldn't automatically jump to assuming the dog is being aggressive or dominant. I think that 99% of it is just making sure that the dog is not threatened (by loving them, being a good leader, teaching them to trust you, etc.) and everything will be OK.

In Loki's case, the wrong kind of trainer would have looked at him and said he was being aggressive and guarding his resources. He wasn't. He was in pain. Now he is a very happy dog because of positive training
