I started getting mine used to the carrier very slowly. I put it on its side and would throw toys or treats in it. He would run in and dash back out. Then put him in it for just a few minutes with a ton of praise and a treat. Carried him around the house, telling him he was such a good boy. It took some time but he got used to it. I can't say that he loves it but he stays in it and he's quiet.
Even though he doesn't try to jump out anymore, I do use carriers with a strap just in case. |
