I have been relatively lucky with all 3 of my little ones as they are all good in a carrier. However, Twinkie actually did jump out of the carrier when I was carrying her in it. Make sure they are clipped in with a harness as Twinkie was clipped in when she tried to jump out - to teach her a lesson I let her dangle there for a second and now she has never done it again. Also, I always give them a small toy and line the carrier with a hand towel so it is more comforting. Hope this helps.
