Isn't that cake great?! I haven't shown it to my mom, who would be making it, yet to see what she thinks but I'm envisioning a more traditional white tiered cake with the boots, belts and rope incorporated into it. I also found out last night that a family friend from back home heard that I planned on buying my bridesmaid dresses and she's upset that we didn't ask her to make them. I hadn't even considered asking her!?
Well, so she is going to be making them now!
I'm actually kind of happy about this because she is a very good seamstress, I know they will be great quality, and now I can change their design if I decide I don't like it!

My best friend was alot like you. She didn't take her time to plan anything. She let her mom take care of most of the big things and then she waited until the last minute to make any of the fun choices so she had to settle for whatever would work into the time crunch. I am enjoying making these plans. I've signed up for
tons of free catalogs for favors, invitations, dresses, honeymoons, etc. I really want our wedding to express who Blake and I really are.
