from what the vet told us is that when she was under the anesthesia, her vital signs were deteriorating. So he had to make the decision to go on with the surgery or stop. He knew if he tried to continue, she would have died so he decided to stop. And that's why she has a hop only when she slow walks or when she is on a real grassy area. Other than that, she can run fine (you would never know) and as for jumping, she was always a jumper and even though the vet told me not to let her (ha) I can't control that.
