Anyway, how long have you had your baby? He probably is still adjusting to the new family & surroundings, but it shouldn't take that long before you'll swear he's been there forever! We adopted my Gellica last year (when she was two yrs old) and at first, she was very jumpy, and barked a lot at strangers, and she went nuts when her people were out of her sight. After about 3 weeks, she was a completely different dog. She became "ours" and we had her complete trust. It just takes time. |
