Theres one thing you have to remember...Dogs live such short lives, and they bring us so much happiness in those years...that's why I guess it never bothered me much on the sectional..of course, it's embarrassing for me to have other people see it, but, I'll replace it someday..as far as bitter apple, I have tried it with no luck, but had read about oil of cloves, that you get an the pharmacy, now, that stuff worked...give it a shot
