It really doesn't help screaming at him after the fact. (which i'm sure you already know) My suggestion would be not to leave him alone in an area where there is something that he can chew on. If you catch him in the act of chewing, then you can scold him.....otherwise, he has no idea why you are yelling. I have chewed corners on my furniture and have just come to look at it as having some "character" LOL
