The first 2 pics are of Dante I decided to keep him from Maggies first litter so I didn't get his tail done. The last pic is Leo we also ended up keeping him.
Maggie had 4 pups. female was the stud fee they wanted to keep her tail Dante was staying with me so I left his tail i had 2 buyers for the other 2 males that wanted to keep their tails. Well I got deposits and one boy went to his new home at 12 weeks. Leo however ended up not going anywhere because although I had a deposit and the person was adamant about getting him, they decided at the last minute that they didn't want him. So although I tried to find a good home for him, after that I was even more picky as to where he was going. So hubby decided to just keep him. So the moral of this is. Even though you get a deposit there is no guarantee that they will or will not follow through. So if the people that don't want you to dock their tails want to pay in full right now then I would get them docked. Don't get me wrong I love both my boys to death but because of what we went through with Leo all my future litters will be docked. Unless someone changes the standard or someone pays in full when they are born with the understanding that they won't be getting all their money back.
