Gracie Ruth does this too.
She'll grab a toy and run around the room with it, she'll throw it up in the air and then pounce on it all the while giving it a vicious tongue lashing as though it did something bad in fly up into the air. I watch her play and am just amazed at people who say they don't have imaginations. She certainly does, she has a whole story going on in her head when she plays by herself.
Of course, play with Momma, Daddy or Boo is always her first choice, but she does play by herself.
