Carley had this done July of last year. She has had a great recovery, she does all she did before. The vet told us we would probably not be able to tell the difference in her after a full recovery, but that she always would. He said she would not be able to jump up on the couch and such, but she does...we try to keep her from doing too much jumping up and down on things, but she is very, very active and we have a hard time with this.
The hardest thing about it all,(besides worrying about her)was keeping her off the leg and not doing to much right after the surgery. Carley is now 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 11 lbs.
