From what I've seen in "It's me or the Dog" a show on Animal Planet when dog owners have the same problem the trainer has the owner come in and out the house many times for a few seconds over and over again. Like that the dog knows and gets used to it so when you do go out he'll also know you will return. It always works on the show. |
