I have one girl with her tail and one without and haven't had health issues with either. I had my Molly's pups get their tails docked, not too much fuss. But after my mom had her last litter done a couple of weeks ago, and those 6 puppies crying for 12 hours. I'm not sure that I would want to go thru it again. Standard or not...It really gave me something to think about. JMO
