I'm not much help because it sounds impossible.
That is a really long time for him to be crated away from you in a strange environment without access to food, water and a bathroom. If you can use a big enough crate, does he know what pee pads are for? Maybe use a water bottle so the dish doesn't dump? If he is free fed that should work but if you aren't switching flights in between, that sounds really stressful for him.
