Our two had a bad barking problem for about 6 months. We did the pennies in the can and it helped but certainly didn't relieve the problem. Then we moved to a quiet neighborhood and haven't had a single problem since. They only bark at the doorbell or thunder. It's such a blessing. My two grew out of it, I hope yours does too. Good luck!

P.S. Be careful, I got caught with a mouse in the dorms in college and almost got kicked out!
