I don't get it, he said you guys can't handle 2 dogs right now but he went ahead and submitted an application for a Cane? I think he's just bitter that he didn't get what HE wanted.
I would LOVE to have a Golden, my husband absolutely loves the breed and have always wanted one.
I really think that if you just went ahead and got a Golden and as you did when you got Zoe, he will love it. I think he just needs time.
