I can't think of anything other than YT magic for Jack's miracle recovery. He had surgery three days ago, and you wouldn't know it today if you didn't see the shaved butt. All internal systems are working perfectly, he doesn't seem like he's in any pain and he hasn't even tried to check out his wound.
This video follows his recovery. Hard to hear, but he squeaks when he's sleeping and eating.
