People are probably going to hate me for this, but oh well...

I am in NO WAY commending her or thinking that what she did is okay, but I just want to say that people with mental illness sometimes act on impulses and its totally uncontrollable. She may have been in psychosis or having severe delusions. That being said, if she is knowingly severely mentally ill, she should not be in charge of another life like that.

I also want to point out that not all people with mental illness would do something like this. I am living proof.

I feel awful that this baby had to go through that and I hope he recovers quickly and finds a new loving home.
