Hey. I am currently switching from IAMS smart puppy for small and toy breeds to Call of the Wild. It is a grain free high protein diet (as it is not made with by-products but actual meat). He loves it and hardly touches the old food since we are doing the gradual switch. I hope this helps.
Oh and a word of caution, if you are looking into Nutro, do not buy it. I have heard some horror stories about that food and even went as far as to change my cat's food (she was on Nutro weight management) just to be safe.
