I have the Canon Rebel XL the picture quality is AMAZING people ALWAYS ask me if they are professional pictures when they see pictures I take of Bella or vacations. There are tons of settings, you can shoot in B/W too. AWESOME camera in my opinion..and I was a beginner. SO easy to use, look on amazon for some good deals though; the stores rip you off with it!
