I have NO idea why, but they are.
The tinier ones and females go for the most expensive then the teeny males, then the bigger ones are like discounted, which must make them feel like an outcast. I know if I was a dog, I would feel bad, that people may not want me just cuz I am a few pounds bigger.
Thanks guys! You made my day!
Buddy is getting his first grooming since I have had him in 2 weeks, so we will see how he looks then! I hope not too different, because I LOVE the way his fur is covering his eyes and face! It is cute! |
i did notice that smaller dogs are more pricey. i guess there is a demand for smaller dogs? well, from my personal experience, i wanted a small dog, but not too small, because i was concerned about health issues. so when i got milu, i was under the impression that she should grow to 5lb. i mean, even if not 5lb. at least 4lbs. but milu is almost 8 months old now, and she stopped growing and weighs a whopping 2.6lbs!!! and i think most smaller dog owners will tell you that they are always so worried about the little ones getting hurt while playing with other dogs, or just getting stepped on by people.
anyways, they are all lovable!!!

but there are some concerns as well, when your baby is tiny.
another example is that i can never sleep well at night, because i am always worried that i will crush my baby. also, i need to put a bell on her, otherwise it's hard for me to find her sometimes! LOL
buddy is cute

where are you taking him for his grooming? make sure you really communicate with the groomer and make sure they understand how you want buddy's hair cut to look like, i was upset after milu's first hair cut, because i didn't like the way it looked. so now i always REALLY make sure they know how i want them to cut milu's hair.
