At 8lbīs she is a good size for breeding but remember she is still a toy breed and 8lbīs isnt huge either
.Even 10pounders can have trouble giving birth and need a c-section,so make sure you have a little money put aside just in case
.It is always wise to have an x-ray done to see how many pups the mother is carrying,how big they are and if she is wide enough to deliver them...etc.Being 8lbīs doesnt mean you can sit back and relax so always be prepared for any complications
She could give birth without any complications at all (Im hoping this is your case
) but its always best to have a plan 2 just in case you have to run to the ER in the middle of the night.I hope all goes well,keep us posted
