I bought the same Kodak easyshare and felt the same way you do! Not happy with it at all.
I have a Canon Rebel that I use for serious pictures, and a Nikon Coolpix that I carry in my purse. I LOVE the Canon because you can snap constantly, but I don't like the bulk when I'm away from home. I guess the Nikon is my favorite - it takes great pictures and the delay is much shorter than that of the Kodak.
