I am so happy that I found this site!! I need your help!!

We have an 8 month old Toy Yorkie name

TRIBBLES!! He is truly my baby boy!! He is VERY, VERY active! Always running around and wanting to play constantly. Last week he slipped on our backyard deck (it was wet from the rain!) and let out this horrible YELP

! Ofcourse we rushed him right to the VET immediately. After some looking over he determined that he has a TORN ACL in his BACK LEFT LEG. We are devastated!! The vet said that he needs a $4,000 surgery to repair it. I have done some research and a lot of what I read says that with little dogs they heal themselves quite well. We are watching him 24/7. He is in a baby playpen most of the time and usually my daughter or myself climb in with him to keep him company. My question is has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? How long did it take? He also seems to be getting depressed because he can't run around and be himself

. Any suggestions or advice would be VERY, VERY much appreciated!!
