Lol, this is not the cost effective way to buy pumpkins. They're pretty cheap at Walmart, but even regular grocery stores seem expensive now. I would guess you paid $50.00 if they weren't too big, you bought an "experience" not a pumpkin, it's something the kids will remember for years, (and so will you.) Maybe one of your kids will become writers and we will see a "A Halloween Story" similar to "A Christmas Story" in future years where mom goes nuts at the price of pumpkins.
