I'm sure daycares are like grooming places. Good ones and bad ones. I just like to keep mine at home and then not have to worry what others are doing. So people are there for the check and not the care. I think its great that they can play with other dogs and have fun. Its really a good way to excerise and socialize the dog especially if you are a working person and don't have time to excerise your dog. I think its great they have places like that. Just have to do your research as you would with anything else.
