I've always gotten females because I thought they were more loving. But I have heard from so many that males are the easier going and the lovers. Now I have 2 females that they both have to be right beside me, on me and kisses all the time. I can't imagine a male being more loving. However I can believe they might be easier going. As my females they are the bossy type and they like to rule. I have one female Cali she is the tomboy. She doesn't like being brushed, so she has the short cut. She doesn't like the lap, she will come over stand up you rub her head and she is off. That is all the lovin she needs. She would rather be running, jumping and following our 90 lb male and looking around for what she can find. She is curious and noisey. So good luck I think you will find all types of answers. They are just like humans they all have personalities and depend how we raise them.
